Thousands of performances while it was open, this wonderful theater was located just steps from the capital building in Lansing, Michigan.

My grandparents would take me to the theater as a kid and I'd always use it as an opportunity to get dressed up and feel "fancy". I felt so mature and grownup "going to the theater".

It was the best. I volunteered during intermission to cashier at the snack bar, and saw so many incredible shows over the years. I specifically remember seeing "You Never Can Tell" at least twice during its run. 

Honoring this long gone spot with a shirt and a mug.
